Acupressure Therapy

If you are afraid of needles or having a condition that prohibits from being needled, try acupressure!

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS Therapy)

A similar technique maybe used in conjunction is called transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, or TENS. This technique uses electrodes that are taped to the surface of the skin instead of being inserted.

Acupressure therapies can be very effective both as prevention and as a treatment for many health conditions, including headaches, general aches and pains, colds and flu, arthritis, allergies, asthma, nervous tension, menstrual cramps, sinus problems, sprains, tennis elbow, and toothaches, among others. Acupressure points can also be stimulated to increase energy and feelings of well-being, reduce stress, stimulate the immune system, and alleviate sexual dysfunction.
